Sabi Sand Game Reserve
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is the oldest private game reserve in South Africa. Established with a passion for conservation, the Sabi Sand has pioneered a host of wildlife and conservation management practices and is managed by a dedicated team. The reserve is a proclaimed protected area, consisting of 49 481 hectares adjacent to Kruger National Park. In particular, it is known for its Big Five experience and the diversity of wildlife conserved here.
The Sabi Sand is well known for its quality private lodges and Big 5 game viewing. there are 3 main areas within the Sabi Sand and depending which lodge you choose, we will take care of getting you there in the quickest safest way. The Southern Sector of the Sabi Sand is home to lodges such as the Sabi Sabi Lodges, Lion Sands Lodges, Mala Mala Lodges, Londolozi Lodges, Kirkmans Camp, Nottens and Umkumbe. The Western Sector boasts lodges such as Singita, Idube, Ulusaba, Leopard Hills, Exeter River and Leadwood, and Inyati whilst the Northern sector is home to the likes of Chetah Plains, Arathusa, Elephant Plains, Chitwa Chitwa and Simbambili.
