Speak to your Ghecko Safaris Consultant about putting together the most perfect Okavango Delta Safari for you. Located in Northern Botswana the Okavango Delta is the world largest inland Delta. Spreading down like a handprint, the Delta is affected by seasonal floods originating in Angola and taking about 6 months to filter down to the Delta. The Wildlife in the Okavango Delta is spectacular. Home to Lions, Leopards, Buffalo, Elephant and the occasional Rhino, the wildlife ebbs and flows with the flood waters. The Moremi Game Reserve and Chiefs Island are centrally located in the Okavango Delta and provide a haven for fantastic wildlife. The enjoyable thing about the Okavango Delta is that you can enjoy game viewing with a variety of methods, from standard game drives, to mokoros, boat cruises and walking safaris.
