This itinerary allows you to experience a 13 Night / 14 Day itinerary starting in Cape Town South Africa. During your stay in Cape Town, we have arrange a private tour guide to accompany you on all your tours in Cape Town which will include a full day tour of the Cape of Good Hope – Cape Point, a visit to Table Mountain and of course the City of Cape Town as well. The second part of your itinerary takes you to the heart of the Cape wine region – Stellenbosch. Here we have suggested a hotel situated on the Lazerac Wine Estate. Continue your tour to the Kruger National Park with a direct flight from Cape Town straight to one of the lodges in the area – certainly a highlight of the trip. On route to Botswana and the last leg of your itinerary, stop over in Johannesburg for one night before connecting with your flight to the city of Maun, located on the Southern edge of the Okavango Delta.  

Itinerary

  • This itinerary allows you to experience a 13 Night / 14 Day itinerary starting in Cape Town South Africa. Assuming your flights will arrive into Johannesburg and connect to Cape Town, this will be home for the next 4 Nights. The Table Bay Hotel is one of our suggested hotels and is centrally situated in the heart of the V&A Waterfront. During your stay in Cape Town, we have arrange a private tour guide to accompany you on all your tours in Cape Town which will include a full day tour of the Cape of Good Hope – Cape Point, a visit to Table Mountain and of course the City of Cape Town as well. There are various restaurants with typical tastes of South Africa to be found, and a detailed list of restaurants will be supplied to make choosing a restaurant a little easier for you. 
     
    The second part of your itinerary takes you to the heart of the Cape wine region – Stellenbosch. Here we have suggested a hotel situated on the Lazerac Wine Estate. From here it will be easy to explore the wine region, and once again, your private tour guide will take you on a full day tour of the winelands around Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. 
     
    Continue your tour to the Kruger National Park with a direct flight from Cape Town straight to one of the lodges in the area – certainly a highlight of the trip. The suggested lodge is Mala Mala well known all over the world for its quality game viewing where you will be able to get close and personal with Africa’s big 5. You spend 3 nights at this lodge where plenty activities will keep you busy during your stay – this is of course also the time to relax and enjoy the sounds of the African bush. 
     
    On route to Botswana and the last leg of your itinerary, stop over in Johannesburg for one night before connecting with your flight to the city of Maun, located on the Southern edge of the Okavango Delta. On your arrival a team from Wilderness Safaris will meet you and assist your connecting flight into the Delta – This is a smaller plane so luggage restrictions will be communicated to you. Kwetsani Camp is our suggested lodge for this leg of your journey. Situated on the Jao concession, this lodge allows for various activities including Game Drives, Bush Walks and of course skimming the Delta on board a Mokoro (dug out canoe). 
     
    Enjoy 3 nights in the Delta before heading back to Maun on board the small planes and continue on to Johannesburg where you will connect with your international flight out. 
     
    Note that the suggested hotels and lodges can easily be replaced with alternate hotels and lodges. Bookings are subject to availability and some activities in the Delta are seasonal, but you will be informed about this during the time of booking.
